Sophie is the Associate, Climate Programs at MaRS, where she supports programming to advance a more sustainable, competitive and resilient agri-food system in Canada. Prior to joining MaRS, she was a venture capital analyst at BDC, supporting founders scaling low-carbon solutions. She previously consulted on agri-food carbon insetting programs at FoodBridge, designed corporate ESG strategies at SLR Consulting, and supported the development of The Carbon Guild at Viresco Solutions, a digital platform designed to improve producer access to verified carbon markets. Sophie holds a BComm from Queen’s University, where she focused on sustainable finance and systems change.
